Iron & Ash Glazed Stoneware Tea Mug

A large ash glazed tea mug, glazed with a dark iron based glaze on the exterior, and my white ash glaze on the inside. with light speckling and variegation from organics burning off in the firing. The base is a warm toasted orange fading to soft off-white.

The ash is sourced from the charcoal grill at Forza Win in Camberwell, with thanks to Chef Sam!
